Can dogs drink coffee

You may remember that we discussed in Can dogs eat chocolate that chocolate contains small amounts of caffeine. In case you don’t remember, I’m telling you that now. Why is that important you may ask? I also have stated previously that caffeine is very toxic to dogs and should be avoided at all costs.

Unless you live under a rock, you should be aware by now that coffee in fact contains caffeine, and a lot of it for that matter. So now I’ll let you answer the question yourself, Can dogs drink coffee? If you said yes, perhaps you need to start reading this over again from the beginning because it looks like you may have missed something. Anyways let’s end this as clear as possible: No, dogs cannot and should not drink coffee.
