Can dogs eat cinnamon

This tasteful spice is all over the place, spicing up your life and perhaps even your dog’s. I’m writing about cinnamon today. Whilst it is found in various dog treats, you could assume that cinnamon is safe for dogs, BUT there have been reports in some cases where cinnamon made a dog very sick. You should note that in many of these cases the dog owner was very ignorant and just fed the dog handfuls of cinnamon.

Chances are if you’re just sprinkling a tiny bit of cinnamon on your dogs food to spice up his or her life then yes, dogs can eat cinnamon. If you are still unsure, don’t give your dog the cinnamon. Cinnamon is definitely not one of those foods where it’s either safe or it isn’t. Just make sure if you are going to give it to your dog, it’s a little bit of it.
