Can dogs eat spinach

Alright I’m always reading mixed answers to the question of today’s discussion: “Can dogs eat spinach?” Frequently I hear dog owners saying that spinach is perfectly fine for your little buddy but I’ve also came across quite a few people who beg to differ.

The most popular response for dogs not being able to eat spinach is that it can cause bladder problems and kidney stones. Why? This might be due to the concentration of oxalic acid in spinach. You might not be aware but oxalic acid isn’t generally the end of the world but foods with a higher concentration of it can cause kidney stones.

I’ll have to put spinach on the no, no list. If you regularly feed your dog spinach, by no means am I telling you to do what you do a different way, I’m simply giving you guys the other half of the story. In the end, the choice is ultimately yours.
